When I need a website thumbnail I usually just view the website in my favourite web browser (Firefox of course), press F11 to switch to full screen mode and press the PrintScreen key to take a screenshot that I can then open in Photoshop or the Gimp depending on what computer I am on. All of the website thumb generators worked pretty much the same, but I did notice that Webshotspro problems with PNG images and alpha transparency. I liked the different sizes that Shrink The Web and Website thumbnails – Bluga.net WebThumb created without having to redo the process so if you are not sure what size you want to use they give you several to choose from just running the process once.
