Blogging with Google Docs
I don’t use Google Docs very often, when I do it is mostly to jot notes to myself from a clients location to make sure I have some snippet of information available when I get back to my office. Recently however I discovered that you can use Google Docs to publish documents to a blog. This feature comes in very useful if you happen to be somewhere and there is a firewall preventing you from accessing your blog. If you still have access to Google Docs you can easily write your blog post and publish it directly to your blog.
Blog posting from Google Docs is very simple to setup, simply click the publish button in Google Docs and follow the instructions.

Google Docs might could also be useful for bloggers that maintain more than one blog. You could do the majority of your work inside of Google Docs and publish to multiple blogs on many different platforms.
This is the first post I have tried posting through Google Docs, so I will be interested to see how it handles the images I have placed in the document. If you have used Google Docs to publish to your blog what has your experience been with it?
Update: Three problems I have encountered with this. The title did not properly get set, categories are set to the default for the post and embedded images do not work properly. I had to come in and edit the post in WordPress to make the image work.
