WordPress Plugin Pulled from WordPress.org

I am not going to go into depth about the level of stupidity that is going on in the WordPress community. If you want to read all about it TechCrunch has a nice overview of the whole thing. For the most part I think the whole thing is nothing more than Matt Mullenweg displaying how WordPress is his way or the highway and nothing else. After seeing how he forced Gutenburg on to the community in the past I am not at all surprised that he is now having a complete meltdown over WP Engine.

WP Exit Page Redirect Plugin Removed from WordPress.org

With all of the drama at WordPress and the fact that it has now been shown that WordPress.org is NOT part of WordPress, but rather owned wholly by Matt Mullenweg I have decided I no longer trust WordPress.org to host the WP Exit Page Redirect Plugin. I have since deleted my account at WordPress.org and the plugin page. If you are still using the plugin or want to use it you can download it directly from this website. No other sources are the official download. If you have downloaded it from another source please contact me so I can have it removed.

Not to think that anyone actually cares what I do with my little niche plugin, but it served a purpose for a client at one time, so it might still be useful for others.

At some point in the future I’ll probably drop the WP in the name since I don’t want Matt Mullenweg to come and sue me.
